WHAT BOOSTER CLUB HAS HELPED FUND

The Burlington Booster Club is dedicated to full transparency. We want all of our members and donors to feel confident that the money they have given is positively impacting the youth and programs in our community. We would also like all of our members and donors to know that if there is a specific program or cause that is near and dear to them (whether it is sports related or not), they are able to specify exactly what they would like their money to be used for and the Booster Club will ensure those funds are directed to that program or cause.

Below is a comprehensive list of exactly what we have been able to fund so far as a direct result of our donors' and members' generosity. 

2025

  • Cougar Spirit Throw Swag Opportunity: Basketballs, Footballs

  • BHS State & Regional Team travel / meal support (all sports if they qualified)

  • BHS Cheer Uniform support, Cougar spirit items

  • BHS Volleyball Program– Setter Trainers x 2 for Middle School

  • Topside Tipoff Tournament Sponsorship for Girls/Boys Basketball

  • Batting cage nets x 2 for BHS Baseball and Softball

  • AfterProm base funding

  • BHS HOSA State Leadership Training, new program uniform support (47 new members!)

  • BHS HOSA National Conference Participation for qualifiers, match in collaboration with Kit Carson County Memorial

  • Hospital and Kit Carson County Health Foundation

  • BHS Football Program – Guardian Caps for Concussion prevention/safety

  • BHS Band – Winter Park Competition – group food support

  • Hosting Hospitality Room for Regional Basketball for the 3 rd year

  • BHS Cheer – New Cougar Mascot costume (not replaced in 25 years)

  • Rebuild the Mac Floor Project start up donation

  • Annual Cougar Kickoff concession supplies

  • 4-$800 Scholarships to Burlington Cougar graduates in 2025

  • New BHS boys basketball NXT Official NHS/CHSAA approved basketballs

 

2024

  • Top Side Basketball Tournament sponsorship for boys & girls basketball

  • Fitness Record Board for the Mac/Weight Room, Rogue Plyo Boxes for the Mac/Weight Room

  • Cheer – Pom Poms

  • Basketballs – CHSAA approved basketballs for program (20+)

  • Volleyballs –  CHSAA approved volleyballs for program (20+)

  • 2-$1000 Scholarships & 2-$500 Scholarships for Cougar Graduates, Class of 2024

  • Hudl broadcast / streaming package purchase support, annually, $3100

  • MacBook necessary for Hudl broadcast programming

  • Spinball Three Wheel Baseball Pitching Machine

  • Athletic Department Color Printer for event program printing

  • Rally / Yard Flags w/Custom Durham Ag Flag stand fundraiser

  • Spirit items for students/fans at local events

  • Annual After Prom Event

  • FBLA National Convention travel support for two student qualifiers

  • Trailer purchase for storage of After Prom Games, Equipment and Supplies

  • State / Playoff Travel-Meal support for Cheer, Volleyball, Basketball, Wrestling, Golf, Track

  • $500 towards the arch at Glynn Higgs Stadium

  • 20 softball bags for softball program

  • Track & Field team sponsorship for overnight lodging to attend 2 track meets in Colorado Springs

  • Funding to finish upgrades to the high school weight room/Mac

  • SmartMop system for the HS Pit & MS gym floor maintenance 

  • 10'x15' EZ-Up Canopy for Burlington HS Track Team

​The BCC also serves as fiscal agent for donors designating funds for:

  • Burlington area youth programs (youth football, youth basketball)

  • Rebuild the MAC project (except for Rebuild the MAC floor)
