Dear Burlington Cougar Supporter,

We’ve said it, heard it so many times: ‘Burlington needs a booster club!’ Conversations were held with several businesses and community members and resulted in feedback that the Burlington community and schools would indeed benefit from a booster club to serve the Burlington School athletic and academic programs. Input received suggested a booster club would ideally create improvements in the following areas:

● reduce and/or centralize fundraising door knocks;
● have central fundraising agent and donation management;
● reduce duplication, increase collaboration and efficiencies for students, parents,
coaches, program sponsors, and businesses;
● develop and promote Cougar community spirit activities and culture;
● develop and promote school teams or groups skills fundraising;
● support local economy by promoting use of local businesses as vendors for program needs whenever possible;
● increase efficiency of the time, money and services parents and other volunteers
provide the programs for fundraising/support needs.

We are excited to introduce the Burlington Cougar Club (BCC) as Burlington’s new booster club!

The BCC Purpose:
The Burlington Cougar Club is a parent and community-based volunteer organization operating as a separate entity from the Burlington School District. It shall be self-governing, self-supporting, and shall seek neither to direct the administrative activities of the Burlington School District nor to control its policies.

The BCC Mission:
The Burlington Cougar Club is devoted to supporting student focused extracurricular activities, organizations, academics, and athletic clubs, etcetera, etcetera of the Burlington School District.
● It includes raising funds and purchasing personal property and services for the
students and staff of the Burlington School District.
● It provides volunteers for student activities, with community involvement.
● It promotes excellence, pride, and good sportsmanship amongst the student body and community.

Our success is entirely dependent upon community support and involvement, and we are excited to bring everyone together. Please see the Business Membership offerings here.
